Ensure logistical arrangements, such as transport and equipment, are in place for each engagement.

Work with the Marketing Trustee to promote upcoming engagements.

Ensure all band members and volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults undergo appropriate backgournd checks (eg DBS checks) via Brass Band England.
Provide safeguarding guidance to trustees, band members and volunteers.
Act as the designated safeguarding lead, handling concerns, and reporting issues as required.
Keep up to date with safeguarding legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
