We recently celebrated another fantastic year of music-making at our annual Swinton Band Awards Night, a special evening recognising the hard work, dedication, and talent of our band members.

Held at The Bowling Club in Norton on 7th June the event brought together players, families, and supporters for a night of celebration, reflection, and a few surprises! Awards were presented for musical excellence, commitment, and progress across all levels of the band.

• Junior Bandsperson of the Year – Freddy
• Player's Player of the Year – Louis
• Newcomer to Senior Band – Lisa
• Training Band Adult Learner of the Year – Emma
• Training Band Young Learner of the Year – Arlo
• Attnedance Awards – Jane, Stephen, Tracey, Charlotte, Tim, Sophia
• Chairpersons Award – Tracey
• Cornet Player of the Year – Graham

A huge well done to all our winners and a big thank you to everyone who helps make Swinton Band such a vibrant and welcoming musical community.
